I am an experienced yoga teacher and teacher trainer, studio owner and creator of the Art and Science of Yoga workshop series for yoga teachers and serious students. I teach motor learning and control as well as yoga for the Kinesiology Department at California State University, Northridge. I have been active in sports and athletics all my life, even competing in a fitness contest in Florida (I made it to the finals!) but it was always something that I did for fun, until I found yoga. Experience and Distinctions
. I have been teaching yoga for 12 years and have been leading 200-hour yoga teacher trainings since 2018. I am the creator and facilitator of the Art and Science of Yoga Instructional Workshop Series. Additionally, I am the sole proprietor of Prema Yoga and Prema Yoga Evolution, yoga studios which I opened in 2014 and 2017 respectively.
I received my M.S. in Kinesiology, CSUN (May 2012) and did my research thesis on the effects of an eight-week yoga practice on aspects of health and performance related fitness. I presented my research at a yoga conference in Haridwar, India in January, 2013....
