After 20 years of working with wealthy families, I've picked up on a few things. Wealth is created in one of three ways: monetizing a business, real estate as an investment, or through inheritance. Most of the wealth created is also lost by the second or third generations. What are you doing to create wealth and add value? What are you doing to prepare your children for the decisions they'll face? A non-traditional route through the worlds of finance and philanthropy have provided a unique perspective on guiding families through major decisions. An extensive background in public speaking has provided the skill set to communicate complex solutions in a simplistic manner. Insatiably curious, I love to learn. Motivated to give, I love to teach through meaningful experiences. I hope you'll find what we have to share as tremendously though provoking, valuable, and applicable.
