I'm a school teacher, married to a school teacher, raised by school teachers. I have a Masters degree, so when it comes to teaching you how to do something, I have 34 years experience in the public school classroom. I found Pilates 12 years ago with my Mother. We took our first class together. I pursued my certifications when, 5 years ago, my Mother suggested I apply at our local Wellness center, as they were hiring a fitness instructor. I applied, got the job, two weeks later I got certified to teach Mat Pilates. Since the pandemic I've finished my home Pilates studio, complete with a small barrel, platform mat and a reformer. I love Pilates and I want you to love it too!

Susannah began her Pilates career teaching at Winsor Pilates in 1998, and earned a Romana’s Pilates certification under Romana Kryzanowska in 2002, and trained personally with Jay Grimes for 8 years. Susannah helped choreograph and performed in the Winsor Pilates worldwide successful video workout series. After performing in countless DVDs with Mari Winsor, she branched out on a new venture with an up and coming company, Pilatesstick. Susannah created, starred and produced two DVDs for Pilatesstick, and was featured in Pilatesstyle magazine and on “TV Guide’s” Hollywood Bodies and Hollywood’s Hard Bodies for her work with “The Stick.” Susannah also worked with Gaiam creating Mari Winsor’s Slimming Pilates, writing fitness blogs and performing in Pilates videos. Susannah's fitness articles have been featured in The HuffingtonPost.com and she has been featured in various online fitness articles. Susannah also holds a Bachelor of Arts in the Performing Arts from St. Mary’s College of California. Susannah and Sam Cotrone opened Cotrone Pilates in 2013, a fully equip Gratz Studio located in West Hollywood and launched their Cotrone Pilates Certification Program in 2018. Susannah can be seen performing Pilates nearly anywhere in the world via Instagram, FB or past Pilates videos, and teaching Pilates is her life’s work. She relishes each lesson she has with her students, as a rewarding and worthy challenge.

Lucie fell in love with Pilates 12 years ago and knew she needed to learn more and share Pilates with others. She wasn't new to the fitness world though, as she was already a Spinning and group fitness instructor since 2000 and a former college athlete having competed in track and cross country at Centre College. In 2009 she received her Pilates Certification and began teaching in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving to Nashville, TN. Lucie owned and taught at a successful studio in Nashville, 12South Pilates for just under seven years. For the past three years, Lucie has owned Shine Pilates in Lexington, KY. She currently holds certifications from the Pilates Method Alliance, Pendleton Pilates, TRX, Mad Dogg Spinning, and ACE Personal Training. In 2020 Lucie studied with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition IIN to become a Health and Nutrition Coach. In 2017, Lucie was awarded the Leo Medallion for Leadership in Pilates by McEntire Pilates. In January 2018, Lucie was interviewed for the Pilates Unfiltered Podcast, an international podcast celebrating Pilates and Pilates teachers.
