Stress is a huge factor in our lives especially this year. We can feel heightened emotions, fear, worry, overwhelm. We can start to over react, making mountains out of molehills. It can start to affect our digestion, not eating and sleeping well. The energy work helps balance our nervous system and rebalance our Life Force Energy. We get connected to our bodies on a whole other level. Its helps not only release physical but also emotional pain. Join me for a 20 minute energy healing session and any questions you might have before or after the session.
Continue expanding your mat-work vocabulary with this group class based on the classical Pilates mat exercises. Learn new exercises that focus on strength and alignment, while linking them together into a flowing series. Great class for the beginning student looking to increase exercise repertoire and for the intermediate student striving to perfect form. This class is open to all clients and has a focus on progressing your practice to the next level. It can include small props and apparatus to support your growth.

The quest for health is often advertised as easy, but in practice is found to be complex. Especially in times when clarity and truth are difficult to discern, Āyurveda provides methods for clear and personalized action that can lead to simplicity, groundedness, and choice. Health is a dynamic experience that is founded on reliable digestion, clear thinking, and decreased suffering. Though everyone's experience of balance is personal, there are a few things everyone can do to increase the potency of their digestion, learn how to make choices that are good for their unique needs - and thus be liberated from fads. This permits the experience of what health actually is in the body and mind. In this workshop, we will cover what health is from the Āyurvedic lens - including the signs of its presence and absence. We will also examine how a person can move closer to health by observing the qualities present in the foods, drinks, and activities they consume. The end result will be a more cogent understanding of health and a simple, engaging means to get there. The entirety of this lecture will be supported by textual references from the Brhat Trayi. This mode of teaching and study empowers all attendees to discover more information from primary source resources, leaving speculation and doubt behind.

We begin with a Hoop/Yoga warmup, opening the joints, loosening the muscles, and activating the life-force energy flow throughout the whole being. Next we dive into the basics motions necessary for beginners hula-hooping - from on body tricks, to off body tech and flow. Regardless of where you'd like to take your flow arts, I will help you get more in touch with yourself through this practice. Not only does hooping bring out your inner child, reconnecting you to blissful freedom, it provides the means necessary to stay physically fit, and non-physically by balancing the hemispheres of the brain and encouraging creative energy flow. After this class, I encourage you to consider where you'd like to go with your flow. Are you doing it just to play, to cultivate more fun in your life? Are you using it as an athletic outlet?
