Sara first discovered yoga in 1999 and felt an immediate connection. However, life has a way of interfering, and her practice remained sporadic until the birth of her third child. One day, she stumbled upon an Ashtanga yoga class, and the rest, they say, was written in the stars. Sara was hooked on the flow, the breath, and the community, and began to develop a regular practice. We will create a union between breath and body as we stretch and strengthen every part of the body and the mind. We will warm up the spine, then build heat as we flow through postures, linking them with breath, and will then utilize the space we have created to lengthen and strengthen the muscles used during class. Variations will be offered so that every student can enjoy a class that nurtures what THEIR body needs.
