Do you ever wonder why you’re more attracted to certain colors than others? One reason is that colors vibrate at different electromagnetic frequencies which depending on your situation can feel energetically harmonious or dissonant. The colors you choose in your home or office should say things about you: who you are; what you wish to express; what you need, what creates the environment that you desire. This is why, when you are moving into a new home or thinking of redecorating any space you already have, it is the perfect time to evaluate how to create a feel good space that brings out the best in you. A space that makes you feel peaceful as well as energetic; spacious as well as secure. One of the easiest and least expensive ways to spruce up your home is to give it a fresh, new coat of paint. When you do, it is important to select the right colors. Although what color you paint your home is a personal choice, you might consider a personalized color palette derived from the principles of Color Therapy. In this class, Author, Certified Color Consultant, Certified Color Therapist Sherry Burton Ways will discuss the colors associated with your home’s life areas. As she introduces each color, she will explain the effects on the body and mind, the Chakras and will explain how the energy of that color can support specific healing goals. In this class we will explore: Historical Perspective on Color Therapy How Color Effects Us Your Relationship with Color Color and Personality Color and Feng Shui

My name is Dana Claudat and I am the feng shui mind behind The Tao of Dana. I am a Stanford-educated Art Historian, a certified Pyramid School Feng Shui consultant and an insatiable writer and designer. My original Tumblr blog, The Tao of Dana, started as an experiment to see if I could teach and share feng shui in a fresh, new way. Two years later, it is a cult-classic success, which led me to found this major portal of all my best lifestyle-enhancing goodies spanning the spectrum of life. This passion project has become my life's mission; bringing balance, beauty, greater happiness and prosperity to the world is my dream. There is not a space in the world that couldn't be improved in small or big ways; by changing spaces, lives also change in small and big ways.
As a busy mom of three little ones, Katie Kimball knows a thing or two about saving time in the kitchen, but she also wants the best of health and nutrition for her family. From yogurt to salad dressing, the Kimball kitchen is filled with homemade foods with nary a box or package in sight. Kimball's blog, Kitchen Stewardship, is focused on balancing nutrition with frugality, the environment with the time available, all as good stewards of God's gifts. Since 2009 KS has offered family-friendly recipes, science geek research into traditional foods and real food nutrition, and lots of helpful tips with a healthy dose of humor and real-life personal experience. A teacher by training, Katie Kimball is well known for her detailed recipes, breaking everything down into baby steps that won't overwhelm even the most nervous newlywed on her first foray into cooking with real food. Her goal is to make whole foods easy (& tasty) for any family to eat day in and day out. The video "introduction" is really a lesson on how to make homemade mayonnaise, something that is pretty difficult to find using only wholesome ingredients. Her Learn It Live course will cover a bit of "reverse engineering" as well - how to make recipes that call for cream of chicken soup completely from scratch using real ingredients.
